We are planning a weekend full of fun and exciting things to do with your friends and fellow Convergence attendees. We realize that Convergence is about coming together with one's on-line friends for three days of face-to-face, real-life contact. The events we have planned take that into account and provide the framework for you and your friends to turn the weekend into a memorable vacation that you will talk about for years to come.

Friday is the first official day of the event and a time for greeting old friends and meeting new ones who will share in your adventures during the Convergence weekend.

• Pirate Rendezvous - Meet and Greet your fellow scoundrels and grab a tankard of grog from the cash bar as we pass out the goodie bags and tickets in the hotel courtyard.
• The Grog Express - A shuttle to Beverages & More where you can stock up on essential supplies.
• Film Festival - An ongoing screening of independent films. Please see the Film Festival Page for more information.
• Walk the Plank - A veritable treasure chest of fancy fashions modelled for your viewing pleasure.
• alt.gothic.fashion Clothing Swap - Meet your fellow a.g.f friends to swap clothing, accessories, and more.
• The Battle - Think you have what it takes to defeat your foes? Join in the mayhem as we host the first ever Convergence LAN party.
• Vendor Meet & Greet - A private gathering for the vendors so they can peruse each other's wares.
• Freebooters' Free-For-All - Song, dance and drink aplenty into the wee hours. Definitely not sea chanties but the bands and DJs will get your body grooving.

Saturday will see everyone into the full swing of things and we intend to provide a variety of options to meet the fancy of just about anyone. The boredom of the doldrums should never overtake this crew.

• Pillagers' Alley - Spend your ill-gotten gains on treasures from the far corners of the world.
• The Grog Express - A shuttle to Beverages & More where you can stock up on essential supplies.
• Music and Movie Swap - Bring those CDs, LPs and DVDs you don't want anymore to trade or sell.
• Treasure Hunt - Find the hidden treasure in this twisted scavenger hunt.
• alt.gothic.fashion Shopping Trip - Go on a hunt for treasure at local shops.
• net.Goth Geek Shopping Trip - A bus to Fry's Electronics for the hardware fanatics.
• Film Festival - An ongoing screening of independent films. Please see the Film Festival Page for more information.
• The Naughty Bus Shopping Trip - Visit a few shops specializing in the more adult side of things.
• Craft Workshops and Seminars - We will make space available on a first-come, first-served basis for anyone who wishes to hold a class on almost anything from sewing to promoting to whatever you can imagine. (Workshops and seminar topics are subject to approval by the Convergence committee. Presenters may charge for materials).
• Buccaneers' Feast - Join us for an afternoon of good food and good company on the hotel's own private beach. (There will be an additional charge to cover catering for this event).
• Art Exhibit and Silent Auction - Acquire a new piece to grace the walls of your cabin or simply have a look at the artwork.
• The Battle - The melee continues as the Convergence LAN party rages on.
• And a Bottle of Rum! - Taking up where we left off the night before, the pirate party continues with more live music and DJs.

Sunday is the end of official Convergence events but that will not mean a dearth of things to do. We will continue on with full sail and a stiff following wind until we reach the end.

• Pillagers' Alley - Still have dubloons burning a hole in your belt pouch? Come back to the market for those last minute acquisitions.
• Let Them Eat Cake... A Formal Tea Party - A pleasant interlude and an opportunity to wear one's finest while taking brunch and tea in the hotel courtyard (There will be an additional charge to cover catering for this event).
• Craft Workshops and Seminars - Want to teach a skill or hold a discussion on a topic? Here is your chance, we will make space available on a first-come, first-served basis for those who wish to hold a workshop. (Workshops and seminar topics are subject to approval by the Convergence committee. Presenters may charge for materials).
• Film Festival - An ongoing screening of independent films. Please see the Film Festival Page for more information.
• Art Exhibit and Silent Auction - Another opportunity to see the works of some unusual artists. The silent auction will end and the lucky bidders will take their pieces home.
• The Battle - Who will take home bragging rights? Who will reign supreme at the first Convergence LAN party?
• Port Royal Ball - Don your best pirate finery for this fancy costume ball. Best costumes will win some fine pirate booty, while the music will hit you like a full broadside from the best DJs we can find.

Please bear in mind that all of this is tentative at this time and is subject to change as time, resources and budget permit. We may add, change or delete events based upon the availability of volunteers, money and time to make them happen. We will not guarantee that any specific event will happen exactly as described here. If San Diego is selected to host Convergence, a final event schedule will be posted as soon as possible but we reserve the right to make alterations as necessary up to the date of the event.
