San Francisco boasts a number of incredible venues for live music and dancing We are pleased to announce a a tentative arrangente wth the DNA Lounge. DNA is a South of Market institution, that has recently re-opened after a year long top to bottom re-modeling. All faciltities are brand new, and state of theart. DNA offers a large main room for bands and DJs, and a second uptsairs lounge that can also accomodate DJs and dancing. Best of all DNA posseses a highly coveted late nite permit - at DNA the party can go all nite long. We are also currently negotiating with the other venues for Convergence 8. We evaluate venues on the following criteria: Comfort and quality of facilities, 18 and over permits, proximity to hotel, and after hours permits. While we cant guarantee that all Convergence 8 events will be held in venues that are accessible to those under 21,we are making it a priority to do so.
