Mount Royal Cememtary
Mount Royal Cemetary The Mount Royal Cemetery occupies 165 acres and is located on the northern side of Mount Royal in the neighbourhood of Outremont. It was established in 1847 in what was then farmland, making it one of the earliest rural cemetaries in North America. In the subsequent 155 years, The Mount Royal Cemetery has become the site of over 150,000 burials, including writers, politicians and other historical figures.

There will be a guided tour of the grounds at 10:00AM Sunday June 2, which will take approximately two hours. There is no formal charge, but donations are accepted. We ask that you pre-register, if possible, to ensure that enough tour guides are available.

L'Oratoire Saint-Joseph
L'Oratoire Saint-Joseph Construction of Saint Joseph's Oratory was begun in 1904 by Brother André of Montréal. Initially a modest building, the oratory attracted millions of visitors who were compelled by Brother André's reputation as a healer and a miracle-worker, and it eventually became an imposing basilica located on the side of Mount Royal. Visitors approaching from the west will be able to spot the dome of the Oratory easily from the highway as they approach the city. To this day, the Oratory is the destination of pilgrimages by visitors from all over the world.

The Oratory will be providing a 1-1/2 hour tour at 10:00AM on Sunday June 2. Cost is $4CAN or $2.50US.

Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges Cemetery
Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges Cemetery The Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges Cemetery was founded in 1855 on Mount Royal by the Catholic parish of Notre-Dame Basilica. The is the burial place of many prominent figures in Quebec history, and houses numerous mausoleums and chapels as well as some truly striking monuments and statues.

The Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges Cemetery tour will be taking place at 14:00 (2:00PM) on Sunday June 2. The tour is two hours long, and the cost is $8CAN or $5US.

Old Montréal and the Notre-Dame Basilica
Old Montréal and the Notre-Dame Basilica "Old Montréal", as it is now known, is the historical heart of the city. The city of Montréal has carefully preserved much of the original architecture. Old Montréal is only a short walk from the official hotel, and the guided tour will include a visit to the Notre-Dame Basilica, one of the most striking buildings in a city known for it's beautiful churches.

The guided walking tour of Old Old Montréal will take place at 14:00 (2:00PM) on Sunday June 2. Cost is $9CAN or $6US.
