The traditional meet'n'greet. We will rent a spacious conference room for this gathering at the hotel which will be licensed, for your pleasure. Rest after your travels and visit with old friends as you prepare for the weekend's festivities.

Music during the meet'n'greet will be provided by Mara's Torment.

Mara's Torment

rik maclean has been making music as Mara's Torment for five years now, and some people really like it. Having released three CDs of moody instrumental darkwave to favourable response, he is currently putting the finishing touches on his latest release The Last Night is the Hardest, which promises to deliver the same blend of dreamlike ambience and tranquil beauty that has captivated the imaginations of his listeners.

rik would like to thank the Convergence VIII Committee for giving him the chance to play this wonderful event, and looks forward to seeing old friends and making new ones.

Ticket Pick-up

Ticket packages and t-shirts will be available for pick-up at the meet'n'greet. Those who are unable to attend the meet'n'greet will be able to pick up ticket packages at the vendor's market and at the door of the evening events, and their t-shirts at the vendor's market and at the Sunday venue.
