Museums and Galleries

Montréal boasts numerous museums and galleries. The Montréal Museum Pass is a passport that allows the visitor unlimited access to 25 participating museums over a two day period, including the Just For Laughs Museum, Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal, Montréal Museum of Decorative Arts, Montréal Museum of Fine Arts, and McCord Museum of Canadian History. The Pass is available for $20CAN. ($13US)

An exhibition hall dedicated to architectural, industrial, graphic and fashion design. Part of the Universé du Québec.

Cinémathèque Québécoise
An avant-garde museum dedicated to the moving image. The Cinémathèque Québécoise holds regular exhibitions and presentations devoted to the subject of new media.

Just For Laughs Museum
The Just For Laughs Museum offers workshops, performances, exhibits and "camps", all on the subject of comedy.

Montréal Museum of Decorative Arts
A museum devoted to industrial and handcrafted design. Exhibits include examples in furniture, ceramics, glass, metalwork, jewelry, textiles and graphic design.

Montréal Museum of Fine Arts
Montréal's largest art gallery, which houses both permanent and travelling exhibits, The Montréal Museum of Fine Arts most recently hosted the Picasso érotique exhibit.
