Our official venue this year for evening events is Small’s Bar!

It is located at 10339 Conant, Hamtramck MI, 48212 which is in the heart of Detroit. It has been a premiere independent music venue for over 18 years. Small’s has been an ally to the gothic community for several years, and regularly hosts bi-monthly gothic, industrial, and dark 80’s nights.

Small’s stage has been graced with such acts as Ego Likeness, The March Violets, Assemblage 23, Ayria, 3Teeth, and more. Saving a little piece of history, the building was built in 1923. It was originally a bank before it was turned into Small’s bar in 1999.

Their front room is art-deco with stained glass windows. The bar is stocked with more than 50 beers including local and national craft labels as well as European labels. Small’s has received multiple awards throughout the years including Best Live Music Bar by Metromix, Best Sound and Lights by Metro Times, and Best Rock Club by Metro Times. Small's has also been featured in Maxim, Travel and Leisure, Guitar World and other national outlets.
