It is our pleasure to announce that the Adam's Mark Hotel Dallas has been
selected by the C14 Dallas Proposal Committee as the official host hotel for
Convergence 14. Through special arrangements with the Adam's Mark Hotel
Dallas, the following rates will be available to Convergence 14 attendees:
$129.00 single; $139.00 double; $149.00 triple; $159.00 quad
All standard rooms will be located in the main building. Upgrades to suites
are available at a slightly higher rate. Sales tax on hotel rooms in Dallas
is currently 15% and will be added to the rate at the time of reservation.
Convergence pricing will extend three days before and three days after the

Dallas’ C14 Committee and the Adam's Mark Hotel Dallas has blocked out 150
rooms (of 1,840 guest rooms) per night as a starting point for Convergence
14 - depending on attendance, more rooms can be added to the block. With 827
over sized deluxe double bedded sleeping rooms, 211 Suites (23 Presidential
Suites), and 802 king bedded rooms, the Adam’s Mark Dallas is the largest
hotel in the Southwest! The deluxe double bedded rooms feature all queen
beds - no twin/full! For your added security and convenience, reservations
will be made directly with the hotel.
In addition, Adam's Mark Hotel Dallas has provided space within the hotel to
accommodate C14 daily events and activities. This includes space for vendors
and artists, the meet & greet (with a cash bar for drinks and refreshments),
and smaller “break-out” rooms for afternoon activities, workshops, and film
viewing. In Dallas, C14 attendees will enjoy exclusively reserved space for
all in-hotel activities. The Adams Mark hotel also connects to a shopping
mall and an ice-skating rink.

If driving or renting a car, Adam’s Mark Dallas has its own on-site parking
garage for hotel guests and visitors. Current self-parking charges are $12
per day for hotel guests and $18 per day for valet parking. Both parking
options feature in/out privileges. Several city owned lots are within a
block of the hotel ranging in cost from $5-10 per day. Adam’s Mark Dallas is
conveniently located 6 blocks from "The Church" (Lizard Lounge) [Thursday &
Sunday], 1.5 miles from Club One [Friday], and 1.9 miles from Gilley’s
[Saturday], the main venues selected for this proposal. During evening
events, shuttles will run to and from the hotel and venue continuously
beginning 30 minutes prior to the event and one hour after the event to
assure everyone’s safe return. The Adam’s Mark Dallas’ 1,840+ luxurious
guest rooms offer many comforts and are set against beautiful city views.
Over 200 suites of four different settings provide the perfect environment
for work or entertainment. The Adam's Mark executive level rooms and suites
are famous for their extra measure of elegance. Luxurious guest rooms have
two queen-sized beds or a king-sized bed, separate in-room vanities, hair
dryers, an iron and full-sized ironing boards, coffee maker, in-room movies,
laundry and dry cleaning service, and 24-hour room service. Other amenities
include high speed internet access; a large work desk; and two dual-line
phones per room (one with speaker function) with voice mail, speed dial, and
modem port. Everything one would expect in accommodations for an experience
of this caliber!
Having hosted many anime and sci-fi conventions, horror festivals, and other
counter-culture events, the Adam’s Mark Dallas is the obvious choice for
Convergence.
