Fasciogoth

I am a devotee of Giovanni Gentile's philosophy of "Actualized Idealism." This postulated that Fascism should have been a Warrior Ethos of Honour, Duty, in the service of Truth and with Action united with Thought. It actively eschews prejudice, stasis, ignorance and embraces a life fully lived and development of the individual. I adore studying history, dancing, Goth anything and look forword to decorating my new place in Medieval Gothy goodness. I admire Mishima Yukio, enjoy reenacting and intelligent conversation. I also have a weakness for bobbed haired women which gets me into trouble. I also love to read, travel internationally (or to New Orleans) and go see the occassional movie. I speak German and some French and Russian. I am also a positively evil punster which no doubt will one day get me shot and beaten (in that order). I've attended C5, C10, and C12. "Never be satisfied with what you are for that destroys the Living Will to be what you Could." -- Giovanni Gentile "Each day, always go a step further." -- Christopher Columbus

Dorothy
aka "Preshess"

Hair-down professional planning scientific conferences at a medical university by day; big mohawk extensions, make-up, and platforms on alcohol consumption professional in the darkness – I deal in the real world and live as myself the remainder. Having participated religiously in the Dallas Goth scene for over a decade, my main enjoyment stems from dressing up, socializing, and participating fully in the night as it occurs. I have an affinity for traveling to other clubs and partaking of their offering. My repertoire includes many U.S. clubs – large & small – and several international clubs, including the pinnacle – Slimelight. With these varied experiences, including attendance of Convergence V and Convergence XII, I fully believe that Dallas will provide an excellent locale for Convergence XIV

Born and raised in Fort Worth Texas then later moved to North Dallas. I have been a member of the gothic community now for about 7 years, and have traveled to other states to visit their goth scene. I've dabbled in many art forms ranging from oil painting to computer graphics. I enjoy synth pop music and a nice cold glass of Amaretto & Dr. Pepper. My fashion sense derives from a mixture of 40’s, 80’s, and today with my New Rock boots, and pinstripe slacks, to my skinny tie and vest complete with a silver pocket watch, right up to my Ducky hat topped with a pair of goggles. I attended Convergence XII and plan to attend Convergence XIII
