VENUES:
Lizard Lounge – The ChURcH
BRISKET & BINGO [Thursday - Pre-Party]
THE GUVNAH’S COMING OUT BALL [Sunday]
Being the mainstay of the “goth-industrial” club scene in Dallas, The ChURcH
was born from glamorous beginnings and has a very rich history. The building
itself was originally a trolley car repair station (1899), then a fire
station, then transformed into a dinner theatre (1950’s), which lends to the
layout of separate rooms, and later utilized as a cabaret (1980’s). The
lavishly rich décor speaks to the intent of providing a distinguished and
elegant venue for our enjoyment. The creator of The ChURcH was a partner in
the famous Starck club of the late 80’s (as visited by Michael Alig and
company for recruitment into the club-kid scene in the early 90’s) and The
ChURcH was a small event at the Starck club. As interest and numbers grew,
the Lizard Lounge was procured and The ChURcH officially opened its doors to
Sunday night services in July 1994. In February 1995, the PTL Club commenced
on Thursday evenings. Now, twelve years later, both events are strong with
500-1000 attendees on any given night.

SUNDOWN SHOOTOUT SOIRÉE [Friday]
A long-term staple in the Dallas club scene, Club One continues to provide a
spacious, high energy arena for the discerning club patron. Opening in 1991
as a New York style dance club, the line behind the ropes is often long.
With a quiet and unassuming exterior, the elaborate interior is quite
impressive with a DJ booth and balcony overlooking the dance floor. Known
for top quality sound and lighting in the main area, Club One also provides
a VIP room with dimmed audio and lighting to enjoy a drink and some company
in a lower-key setting. A full-service bar in the restroom also assures that
the party doesn’t stop for anything!
