Accomodations Hotel At this time the Dallas Comittee has a tentative agreement with one of the finest hotels in Dallas, The Adam's Mark. There are 5 dining establishments in-house to choose from, ranging from a bagel shop to fine gourmet dining. Several ballrooms and conference rooms varying in size up to 46,000 sq. ft. are available for official Convergence events. The rooms are equipped with data ports, and room service is available 24 hours. All events taking place at the hotel will have more than ample room for attendees to circulate and congregate, and the hotel is located within walking distance of Deep Ellum. The hotel has agreed to make sure that Convergence attendees rooms will be reserved together on the same floors. Thus insuring that other hotel guests will not be disturbed, and a good time will be had by all far into the wee hours of the night! Hotel prices at this time are: Single/double occupancy: $89 per night Triple/quad occupancy: $99 per night Hotel tax is approximately 11%. Those not wanting to stay at the official hotel have several other lodging options nearby from which to choose. All are very reasonably priced, and lower in comparison to most other large cities. Transportation While Dallas is by Texas tradition a large spread-out city, the Dallas committee has worked hard to keep this from being a factor. We will be offering airport pickup and drop-off at both D/FW International and Love Field Airports--the price of this service may be included in the ticket package if desired. For those attendees flying into the city, this option will save substantially on the initial cab-fare and confusion of travel to the official hotel. Once at the hotel attendees will be able to appreciate the localized area of the city where most Convergence events will take place. Transportation will be provided to and from most of the events, in the form of shuttles. We have fully researched how to successfully accomplish this goal, and tentative arrangements have been discussed with several companies. However, the shuttles will run between the official hotel and the event venues only. Please email Raven Libra for more information regarding the shuttles.
