Seattle

While Seattle is not the same city you visited 9 years ago, some things remain the same. Seattle still has a thriving and active yet compact goth/industrial scene. It is currently blessed with multiple goth/industrial-friendly club nights to choose from almost seven days a week. We do not have multiple clubs to choose from every night, therefore it is rather predictable where to find your friends. Seattle also boasts an online Gothic community with hundreds of regular and semi-regular participants.
Even after the bust, the cornerstone of Seattle’s economy remains the 'tech sector'. You will easily see a city that supports that sector from tech centric retail, to wi-fi around town and on public transportation.
Many may just think Seattle is known for it's espresso, but the Puget Sound area is also known for the wine, and has more then 35 wineries in the area, let alone the hundreds in the state. If wine isn't on your agenda many of Seattle's liquor stores are now open on Sundays so you can have your fix any day of the week.
Seattle is home to many arts. With a world-class symphony, opera, ballet companies and recently expanded museums; it is a vital center for artists, musicians, and other 'creative types' who call the city home. At any given day during the week or weekend a person wondering the streets is bound to find something artistic or music orientated no matter what your tastes are.
The weather is still near perfect. Yes, we have a gray day, but still less yearly rainfall then New York City. With estimated temps of 55-75F your eyeliner will not run. If we have the honor of winning the bid and you come to visit we promised you, when leaving you will consider moving to Seattle, again.
You will also find here the Pike Place Market, built in 1907 and is one of the oldest continually-operated public farmer's markets in the US. Notably not too far away is the Seattle Pacific Science Center housing the world famous Space Needle built to host the Worlds Fair in 1962. To the south of the main bustle is Pioneer Square also known as 'Old Seattle' historically preserved to its early 20th and late 19th century appearance and of course the haunting Underground Seattle tour.
