Events

The C15 Seattle Committee has some great plans in store if we have the honor of hosting C15. In addition to the traditional themed evenings we specifically created the following for our target attendees, the alt.gothic community.

Thursday:

-Early Check in
-Possible Unofficial dinner/meet and greet
-Thursday Lounge Night- (for those that are jet lagged)
Not quite ready to kick things off with a full night of running around. Though ready to relax at a local spot to get your mind and body ready for the incoming.

Friday:

-Check in, Tune out- Get your lams and Lounge at a private w/bar . Its been a year, so we will insure the first official event has enough room for you to catch up with all your friends. A lot has changed in 9 years, so be sure to get your official itinerary and map of the Seattle area. We will make sure to include all you need to know to get around Seattle and some great NEW places to shop or sightsee. Stand or sit around and meet new or old friends before deciding on what to do with the rest of your day.
You need to feed the machine, and we don’t want you relying solely on the concierge. Each night we plan to create a select list of local restaurants and bars that are close to the host hotel that feature the best of what Seattle has to offer. Whether it is the cheapest happy hour with .25 PBR to sushi, our list is designed to insure that you are never far from your fellow attendees.
-The Black Market- Grab a few wares that you are normally not able to get your hands on at our vendors.
-Prozium Club night- Seattle has a vibrant club scene, use this night to stop see all that it has to offer. Local and not so local Djs will keep you on the floor until late at night.

Saturday:

-The Black Market- Grab a few wares that you are normally not able to get your hands on at our vendors.
-AGF Shopping Trip- She may be known as the “Lady of the Manners” Jilli Venters along with another pillar of our community Alexia Roy will be touring new and old friends to some of their favorite stores around Seattle. (tentative day)
-Filtered Dreams..- Seattle has Art and a lot of it. Take a lovely stroll and visit some of the smaller galleries and maybe even the larger museums. See what the world has to show you even if it is not yours.
-GasMasquerade Ball- What the future holds is anyone's guess. Will your future style be a look forward or will your style be something from the past? Dance the night away or for some drink it away. Enjoy your surroundings of people and location.

Sunday:

-Tea of Yesterday & Fashion show- An afternoon of tea and Dystopia Fashion. The location we're looking at to hold this lovely event is the Triple Door just blocks away from the hotel (of any of the hotels on our bid). If Tea isn't your thing, but want a nice drink to go along with your food the Triple Door has a lovely menu a drinks to choose from. Sit back and relax for a few hours and enjoy the fashion show.
-Robosushioke – Like Music? Like watching sushi cruise at 1 mile per hour? Like seeing your friends make fools of themselves? If you said yes to any or all of these questions, do we have an event for you! Join your alt.gothic friends at one of Seattle’s great conveyor belt sushi restaurants for a little raw(and cooked) fish and a little song and a lot of beer and sake. Good or bad, it will still be awesome.
-Replicated- Hear the sounds of some local bands. After the bands continue on with parting at our local clubs or other after parties.

Monday:

-Unofficial Bunch-

The fine print:

(Yes, you've heard this all before) Due to the nature of the Convergence bidding process, venue reservations, specific scheduling, and availability of events and venues cannot be confirmed until after C15 voting results are announced; therefore the following should be considered preliminary information and subject to change. Should you honor Seattle with the privilege of hosting Convergence 15, we'll also, of course, be asking for your suggestions, comments, and input. Want something that is not currently included? Talk to us and we'll see about setting up an unofficial event or even make it official.
