Highly Responsive Committee

Ours will be among the most accessible Convergence Committees over the year in advance of the actual festival. Virtually all of our staff are email junkies who will be able to answer your questions rapidly. In the process of preparing for the bid this year, we created a total of seven mailing lists to address particular focuses. We have access to our own mail server and plan to create a web-directory where contacting the appropriate person is simple and quick. Many of us are active participants on local mailing lists, in local chatrooms, and the alt.gothic.* hierarchy newsgroups as well. Information exchanged amongst our staff is frequent and rapid, which will in turn be delivered to you as efficiently as possible.

Audiocast

Over the coming year, we hope to set up a live audio webcast of C7 in conjunction with Bob Westphal of "The Shape Of Things To Come" on WFDU, the longest-running radio show covering dark/underground music in the greater NYC area.

Band Hospitality

We also want to make the experience splendid for the people who will be helping make C7 entertaining. Hospitality services for bands will be coordinated by Lisa Feuer of Black Tape For a Blue Girl and Corey Gorey of The Brickbats. Being performers as well as Net.Goths, they hope to make the Convergence experience as delightful backstage as it is for the audience.
